CLAY -- Marie Daily Clay passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at the age of 94. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Clay; her sons, Charles Stevenson and David Hebron of Conway, MO; and a daughter, Marilyn Sprague of Albuquerque; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Marie was born in Minneapolis, MN on May 1, 1914. She married Robert May 18, 1948. The couple has lived in Iowa, South Dakota and Ohio, from where the family moved to Albuquerque in 1955. Marie was always active in church work, where she was a Deacon, taught Sunday school and headed the Vacation Bible School a number of times. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at La Mesa Presbyterian Church, 7401 Copper Ave. SE. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial gift to La Mesa Presbyterian Church.
