ORONA -- Marcelina Orona, 71, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 7, 2008. Mrs. Orona is survived by her children, Christine Turrietta, Donald Orona and Jeanette Orona, Debbie Chavez and Mark Chavez, George Orona, Ida Lopez and husband, Lawrence, Rebecca Orona and Allen Thayer; companion, Cruz Alonzo; sister, Stella Garza; brothers, Henry Jaramillo and wife, Nena, Manuel Jaramillo, Lalo Jaramillo and wife, Patsy, Jerry Jaramillo, and Louie Jaramillo; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and one on the way. Mrs. Orona was preceded in death by her husband Edward (Lalo) Orona; sons, Bobby and Michael; parents, Natividad and Sophie; granddaughter, Tracy Orona; sister, Shanna Rambes, brother-in-law, Larry Rambes; brothers, Johnny, Pete, Melcor and wife, Lala; and nephew, Julian. Visitation will be Thursday, December 11, 2008 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Family Worship Center, 7311 Glenrio Road NW, with a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m, Steve Ulibarri, presider.
