GIRON -- Anselmo (Curly) M. Giron, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on November 23, 2008. Mr. Giron is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Cora Giron; children, Gene Giron and wife, Sofie, Maria Giron, Yvonne Harrel and husband, David, and Jerome Giron; sister, Neph Carrillo; nine grandchildren, Kim, Eric, Jesse, Adam, Jude, Dana, Scotty, Chris and Brian; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many other extended family members. Mr. Giron was preceded in death by his daughter, Isabel; and sister, Marie Martinez. Mr. Giron was a member of the Catholic Church; Veteran of the U.S. Army, Marines and the National Guard. Visitaiton will be Wednesday, November 26, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gene Giron. Final Visitation will be Friday, November 28, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at San Juan Catholic Church, Veguita, NM, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow to Veguita Cemetery, Veguita, NM. Pallbearers will be Eric Giron, Adam Giron, Scotty Giron, Jude Giron, Isaac Giron, and Eddie Vallez. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Carrillo, Kevin Carrillo, Gene Carrillo, Rodney Martinez, Marcus Barreras, and Gabriel Martinez. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
