BROWN -- William (Bill) Brown, 68, a resident of Tijeras, died Saturday, November 22, 2008. He is survived by his son David Brown and wife Jessica; daughter Cindy Stein and husband Mike; and grandchildren Lauren Brown and Jake Stein. William was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia. William dedicated his life to ensuring the safety of others as a firefighter. He spent his retirement volunteering at numerous wildlife refuges, most notably at Wildlife West Nature Park, where he helped raise and served as main caretaker of Moon Shadow, a 150 pound mountain lion. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 3:00 p.m., at Wildlife West Nature Park in Edgewood.
