CANDELARIA -- Elodia "Gloria" Candelaria, 67, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, went to meet her Savior on Saturday, November 15, 2008. She is survived by her children: Jose Candelaria and wife, Judy, Anna Padilla and husband, Anthony, and Marty Candelaria and wife, Peggy; grandchildren, Jacob, Analise, Alexis, Julianna and Jerome Candelaria, and Anthonette and Daniel Padilla; four great-grandchildren; brother, Jesus Fierro and wife, Barbara, and numerous extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Candelaria; sons, Melquiades and Rodney Candelaria; and parents, Jesus and Mary V. Fierro; siblings, Anita Duran and Armando Fierro. Gloria was a longtime active resident of the San Jose Community. She was a beloved wife and loving mother and grandmother. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, November 18, 2008, 7:00 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway SE. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway SE. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
