SANCHEZ -- Elodia Sanchez, 85, a resident of Albuquerque passed away November 12, 2008. Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her sisters, Mary Trujillo and Virginia Castillo; her brothers, John Sierra and wife, Dorothy, Guadalupe Sierra Jr. and wife, Annie, Michael Sierra and wife, Juanita; many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins and friends. Mrs. Sanchez was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Sanchez; and her brother, Mateo Sierra; Mrs. Sanchez was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday, November 13, 2008, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Friday morning from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona Rd. SW, Father Bill Sanchez, presider. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Sierra, Dean Sierra, David Trujillo, Ted Trujillo, Robert Sierra, and Michael Sierra, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Sierra, Edward Sierra, Michael Trujillo, Robert Trujillo, Robert Sanchez and Demetrio Sanchez.
