ROGERS -- MARGARETA E. ROGERS, age 67, passed away October 21, 2008. Margareta is preceded in death by her mother and father, Adolf and Maria Gunder; and all her siblings. Margareta was born April 2, 1941 in Germany where several nieces and nephews survive her. She is also survived by many friends who loved her dearly. Margareta loved animals and was an active owner and trainer of Race Horses in New Mexico, where her horses held several speed records. She was the sole owner and proprietor of the "Silver Eagle" jewelry store in Santa Fe Village, of which she had recently retired and sold. Margareta was a devout Roman Catholic. A Mass will be celebrated Monday, November 3, 2008, 11:30 a.m. at St. Francis Cathedral in the Annex.
