ISLAND -- Francine Island, age 59, a resident of Albuquerque for over 30 years, passed away on Saturday October 25, 2008. She is survived by her husband Raymond Island; two children Raycine Island and Raymond Fletcher Island; Trey Raejon, Jamil Isaiah; one brother Al McCoin and wife Mary Jean; two sisters Margie McCoin, and Varice Franklin and her stepmother Kathyrn Newsome McCoin. She is preceded in death by her father Fletcher McCoin and mother Dollie Mae, and one sister Fletcher Mae Blackwell. Francine was a faithful member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from Sandia National Labs, and was a member of the PTA. An Evening Service will be held on Friday October 31, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services Palm Chapel 1100 Coal Ave. SE. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday November 1, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church 8550 Saul Bell Rd NW.
