GIRON -- Robert D. Giron Jr., 44, passed away in Albuquerque after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sr., who passed away in April 2008. Robert is survived by his son, Jonathan; mother, Cecilia; his sisters, Audrey Leyba and husband, Phillip, Brenda Martinez and husband, Andrew; several nephews; one niece; one grandniece; several aunts and uncles; and other family and friends who loved him and will miss him very much. Memorial Services will be held at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW., on Saturday, October 11, 2008. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW, ABQ.505-343-8008
