ROMERO -- Adolfo Romero was born February 28, 1928 in Cuyamunge, NM. He passed away Friday, September 19, 2008 in Albuquerque. Adolfo is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Iselia "Sally" Romero; three sons, Matthew Romero, John Andrew Romero and Mark Romero; brothers, Jose E. Romero and wife Matilda of Espanola, NM and Samuel Romero of Rio Rancho, NM; sister-in-law, Adelina Romero; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4th and Stover SW. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 26, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m., with US. Air Force Honors. Pallbearers will be Charles Romero, Ronald Romero, Ben Romero, Alfred Vigil, Daniel Gutierrez, and Dominic Peralta. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
