BALL -- Kevin C. Ball, age 53 of Albuquerque, NM passed away Thursday September 18, 2008. Kevin was born September 9, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. Kevin married Cheryll Smith on May 17, 1980 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Kevin along with his wife operated Standard Machine Co. of Albuquerque, NM since 1989. In 2002, they were the recipients of the Ethics in Business Award. In his spare time, Kevin enjoyed Jeeping, Fly Fishing, Electronic Gadgets but more importantly spending time with his daughter Amanda and his wife. He was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends. Surviving are his wife of 28 yrs. Cheryll; daughter Amanda Ball attending college in Olympia, WA; his brother, Jim Ball of Albuquerque, NM; two sisters, Wendy Reary and her husband Dave and their son, Sam, of Saint Louis, Missouri, and Sue Chura of Michigan. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Shriners, Ballut Abyad Perpetual Fund P.O.
