NEAL -- Anna Elizabeth Neal (Standhardt), 90, went to her Heavenly Father, September 8, 2008. She was born in Denver, CO, May 10, 1918. Anna is survived by her two sons, Jack and Robert Neal, both of Albuquerque; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Quanah S. Neal. After living in Southern California for 45 years, she and Quanah moved to Albuquerque and were residents for 23 years. She was active in the Little League Auxiliary from 1951 to 1955. After moving to Hemet, CA, Anna was president of Catholic Daughters for two years. While living in Albuquerque, she was a volunteer at Presbyterian Hospital, accumulating 2600 hours. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all her family and friends. Grandchildren, Mary McNabb, Lynda Neal, Cheryl LaJeunesse, Erin Del Rocco, Rob and Brandon Neal, will be arriving to attend her Memorial Service to be held in Albuquerque, NM at the convenience of the family. Anna was a resident of Valle Norte and St. John's Nursing Homes for the past five years. She was cared for in her last days by VistaCare Hospice, Lovelace Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VistaCare Foundation, 5639 Jefferson St, NE, 87109.
