HAUGEN -- Hazel Haugen, 85, died peacefully in her home June 6, 2008. Born October 21, 1922 in Lake Park, MN and was a resident of Albuquerque since 1968. Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Haugen; parents, Emma and Axel Nelson; and siblings, Norris, Roy, Esther, Arnold, Lester, and Gordon Nelson. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Eksjo Lutheran Church in Lake Park, MN. Her ashes will be laid to rest next to her husband's in a nearby cemetery. Hazel is survived by her five children, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many loving friends. She made a difference in their lives and will be missed.
