DODGE -- Homer B. Dodge, age 87, passed peacefully at his home, Tuesday, September 16, 2008. He was born on September 5, 1921 in Dallas, TX. Homer is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Geneva Dodge of the family home; his son, Philip Dodge and wife Anna Marie of Lakeside, CA; stepson, John S. Baldwin of Crofton, MD; his grandchildren, Philip Dodge, Jr., Denise Dodge, John Baldwin and Sally Baldwin. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Olene Dodge. Homer retired from the Bureau of Indian Affairs Navajo Nation area in 1979. He enjoyed sports especially Football. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho. Cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be conducted Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, with Pastor Si Budagher officiating. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho's Missions' Fund.
