SANDOVAL -- Anthony R. Sandoval, age 58, beloved son, father, grandfather, and brother, was called home to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 11, 2008, while surrounded by his loving family. Anthony was a life long resident of Albuquerque. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, who served his country during the Vietnam War. Anthony enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Sandoval. Anthony is survived by his mother, Victoria Sandoval; brothers, James, Leo, and Jacob Sandoval; sisters, Connie Sandoval, Helen Hunt, and Pauline Sanchez; his children, Demitria Sandoval, Melanie Sandoval, Manuel Rodriguez, Anthony Sandoval, Jr., and Ashley Sandoval; five grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. Anthony will be greatly missed by all. Visitations will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, where a Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be James Sandoval, Leo Sandoval, Jacob Sandoval, Lawrence Sandoval, Jacob Sandoval, Jr., and Jeremy Sandoval.
