STEELE -- Shauna Steele, longtime resident of Albuquerque, began her next great adventure on August 14, 2008. She is survived by many; friends who became family and family that she loved to sing, dance, and fish with. Shauna spent her work life with the State of New Mexico, doing outreach and marketing for the Human Services departments. She found "terrible beauty" in being a four time breast cancer survivor, and took pride in being honored with the Anita Salas Volunteer award. A Celebration of Shauna's remarkable life, spirit, and accomplishments will be held Friday, August 22, 2008 at 4 p.m., in one of her favorite places to sit, the backyard of Dianne and Steve Griego at 1712 Camino de la Sierra NE. East on Indian School through the Tramway intersection, up the hill and then left on Camino. The house is at the end of the street on the right.
