MARTINEZ -- Curtis Gordon Martinez, 52, a resident and member of Laguna Pueblo, NM passed away on August 19, 2008. Mr. Martinez is survived by his children, Renee Martinez and husband, Billy Pulliam, Kenneth Martinez, William Martinez, Michael Martinez and Scott Martinez; his parents, Edwin and Vera Martinez; his brothers, Edwin Martinez, Nevin Martinez, Moses Martinez; his sisters, Lynn Martinez, Karen Tachias, Angela Martinez and Carol Martinez; his grandchildren, Joshua, Anastancia and Madison; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his brothers, Marvin and Terry Martinez. Mr. Martinez was a member of the Catholic Church and a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam era. Visitation will be Thursday, August 21, 2008, at the family home in Laguna, NM after 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Old Laguna, NM at 11:00 a.m., Father Larry Bernard, presider. Interment will follow at Old Laguna Cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be William, Michael, Scott, Chris and Moses Martinez, Steven Saiz, John and Chris Zamora.
