PLEMONS -- Joe Wallace (Wally) Plemons of Bernalillo, NM, 63, suddenly left us on August 2, 2008. Born in Durango, CO June 8, 1945, he was raised in NM; served in the Navy; managed a Radio Shack Store in Rio Rancho. After retiring from the Sandoval County Treasurer's office, he crafted exquisite chimes. By his side, Norma, wife and soul-mate, crafted beautiful wood-products. Together, they sold their hand-made items at craft fairs. Wally was a people-person and loved to explain how he made and tuned his chimes. His last weeks were spent doing what he loved the most: craft fair at Eagle Nest, with Norma, and fishing at Coyote Creek. He is survived by his wife and soul-mate, Norma Gay Plemons; sons, Jerry Leon Plemons of Belen, NM, Patrick Plemons; Richard Lawrence, and Bryan Lawrence; his mother and step-father, Margaret and Armond Austin; and two sisters, Sally Bueno, and Marilyn Treadwell; and 12 wonderful grandchildren. At his request, there will be no memorial service. Thank you to all who have been so supportive at this sad time.
