ANDERSON -- Robert "Bob" F. Anderson, 83, resident of Albuquerque, passed on Saturday, August 9, 2008. He is survived by his sister, Ruth H. Anderson; children, Beverly Piscatelli, Nancy Jones, and Robert F. Anderson, Jr.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, and former wife, Jean Robinson; and his parents, Ralph Waldo and Eva G. (David) Anderson. After high school, Bob served in the Pacific with the US Army for three years during which he was awarded a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart Medal of Honor. He then worked for and retired from the Los Alamos National Laboratories in 1986. Interment of cremated remains will take place Friday, August 15, 2008, 2:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
