SOLIS -- Ellimay Solis, age 62, passed away August 8, 2008 after a prolonged battle with cancer. Ellimay is survived by her only daughter, Paulette Solis and husband Stephen Sexton; and sister, Anna Marie and husband Moises Nevarez. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Eloy and Eduvigen Gutierrez; and brother, Don Gutierrez. Her nephews, Joseph and Eloy Nevarez; niece, Adrianne Nevarez and fiancee Jonathan Chavez and great -niece Monique Nevarez were a source of great joy, as were her four-legged grand kids, Athena, Jake and Samantha. A Rosary will be recited Monday, August 11, 2008 at Salazar & Sons Mortuary at 7:00 p.m. A Catholic Funeral Service will be held at Salazar & Sons Mortuary at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2008.
