GALLEGOS -- Petrita Gallegos, age 96, beloved mother and grandmother, was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 29, 2008. She was born in Madrid, NM, and was a resident of Albuquerque, formerly of Pena Blanca, NM. She was preceded in death by a son, Emiliano Sanchez. Mrs. Gallegos is survived by her loving children, Helen Lucero and husband Rudy, Dolores Garcia and husband Mike, Virginia Gallegos-Martinez, and Joe Gallegos and wife Vicki; daughter-in-law, Sarah Sanchez; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends. Mrs. Gallegos will be greatly missed by all. Visitations will be Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary, where a Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m., and followed by Funeral Services at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Pena Blanca Community Cemetery.
