FADGEN -- Betsy W. Fadgen, age 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1976, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at her home. She is survived by her children, Patricia Romero and her husband Daniel, Rebecca Whitlock, William A. Fadgen, Jr. and his wife Teryl, and Mary J. Schaller and her husband Brett, all of Albuquerque, NM; her grandchildren, Brian, Christopher, Thomas, Colleen, Brandon, Courtney, and Scott; and her great-grandchildren, Avery and Zoey. Mrs. Fadgen was born on May 23, 1930 in Springvale, Maine. She married William A. Fadgen in September of 1951 in Springvale, ME. He preceded her in death on February 26, 2002 after 51 yrs. of marriage. Mrs. Fadgen was a Registered Nurse and a Certified Registered Locksmith. She was the owner and operator of Bill's Lock and Key for the past six years. She and her husband operated the business from 1978 until his death in 2002. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all. Memorial Services will be held at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel on Friday, July 25, 2008, 10:00 a.m. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM at a later date.
