GABALDON -- Thomas (Tom) R. Gabaldon, 53, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, July 14, 2008 due to an automobile accident. Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Terre; his mother, Mary Lou Gabaldon; daughters, Karen Martinez and husband, Jack, and Carol Macias and husband, Manuel; sisters, Elizabeth Gabaldon, Dorothy L. Gabaldon, and Dr. Diana L. Gabaldon and husband, David Sanchez Jr.; his brothers, Rick Gabaldon Sr., and fiancee, Josie, Walter Gabaldon Sr. and wife, Lisa; sister-in-law, Christine Gabaldon; grandchildren, Kristina, Kathryn, Jasmin, and Joshua; parents in law, Mary and Bob Lafler, and Roger and Hope Bagnull; brother-in-law, Ken Bagnull; godson, Greg Gabaldon Jr.; nieces and nephews, Christopher and wife, Andrea, Joseph, Camille and husband, Ray, Rick Jr. and fiancee, Martha, Erika, Ashley, D'Ana, Greg Jr., Gregory and wife, Melinda, Walter Jr., Candace and Alyssa; and his dog, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his father, Norbert (Bert) Gabaldon; and his brother, Greg Gabaldon Sr. Tom was a member of the Catholic Church. He retired from the City of Albuquerque Aviation Department in 2006. He had a love of cars, a mopar enthusiast. Tom was a faithful employee of the family business, Gabaldon Mortuary. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 17, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by the Legion of Mary. Final visitation will be Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Father Gene Greis and Father Gino Correa presiders. Pallbearers will be Manuel Macias, Jack Martnez,, Gregory Padilla, James Sanchez, Charles Brice, and Juan Jaramillo. Honorary pallbearers will be David Sanchez Jr., Christopher Gabaldon, Rick Gabaldon Jr., Walter Gabaldon Jr., Greg E. Gabaldon Jr., Ray Rodriguez, Richard Martinez , Bob Simmons, Dominic Rodriguez, and David G. Sanchez III. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors SW 243-7861
