CUELLAR -- Gavina M. Cuellar, 73, born on September 19, 1934 was called to her heavenly home, ending her journey here on earth on July 7, 2008. Gavina loved life deeply and enjoyed the very simple things in life. We will miss her smile, and feistiness. "Our life is already empty without you, and we will forever love you"! She was proceeded in death by her father, Flavio Archuleta; and her mother, Trinidad Sanchez. Survived by her husband of 56 years, Joe Cuellar; daughters, Carla Montano, Wanda Sanchez, and Deborah Casados. Seven grandchildren, Nichole Montano, Kristopher Montano, Andy Sanchez Jr, Ben Sanchez, Veronica Sanchez, Jayson Casados, Mark Casados; and six great-grandchildren. Services are as follows: Rosary on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on 1860 Griegos Rd NW. Mass on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery on 1900 Edith Blvd NE. Pallbearers are Andy Sanchez Jr, Ben Sanchez, Kristopher Montano, Jayson Casados, Mark Casados, and Joe Suarez. Honorary pallbearers will be her only two granddaughters, Nichole Montano and Veronica Sanchez.
