TOLAN -- Anne Tolan, 61, died at home in Albuquerque, Thursday, July 3, 2008. She is survived by her friend and companion, Mary Crenner; sister, Mary Weber and husband Jack; brothers, James Tolan and wife Gloria, William Tolan and wife Lori, Harold J Tolan and partner Alaine and sister Catherine Hollowell and husband Richard; long time friend, Paula Tsosie and; many other family and friends. Anne was born in Lansing, MI, graduated from Msgr John A Gabriel High School, and served her country in the US Navy Medical Corp. She then worked as a Physicians Assistant with Indian Health Services at the Santa Clara Pueblo, and later transferred to the V A Regional Hospital in Albuquerque before retiring in 2007. She was an avid reader and loved the outdoors, especially fly fishing and sailing. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Snows in Hessel, MI in August.
