BRASWELL -- Shirley Jean Braswell, 72, a resident of Albuquerque since 1968, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2008 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Jean is survived by two sons, Danny Braswell and wife Diana of Richmond, VA and Bruce Braswell and wife Julie of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Cody and Dustin Braswell of Albuquerque and Alysa Braswell of Los Angeles, CA. Jean was born in Rentz, GA. Surviving family include brothers, Lamar, Mike, H.W., and Billy Daniel; sister, Barbara Pope; extended family and loving friend, Adele Freebus of Albuquerque. Jean was a member of Hoffmantown Church.
