ARMIJO -- Benjamin Armijo Jr., 52, a life long resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with the Lord, on June 20, 2008. He was a life long member of the Catholic Church, and a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his children, Monica Triana and husband Patrick, Adam Armijo and wife Kellie, Matthew Armijo and Olivia Armijo, mother of his children; grandchildren, Patrick, Alyssa, Kassandra, D'Andra, Xavior and Shawn, his mother, Emma Armijo; his brothers and sisters, Mary Padilla, Frances Baca and husband Daniel, Jerry Armijo and wife Irene, Betty Beall, Andrew Armijo, Eileen Romero and Roberta Gutierrez and husband Mario. His in-laws, Ernest and Rosie Chavez, He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Armijo; and a sister, Annette Armijo. He enjoyed fishing, bicycle riding, playing his guitar, and enjoyed music. He will be missed by his loving family. Rosary will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Eighth Street Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5300 Phoenix Ave. NE. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Patrick Triana, Niko Gutierrez, Mariano Gutierrez and Aaron Romero. Honorary pallbearers will be Xavior and Shawn Armijo.
