DIXON -- Betty Fay Dixon, 78, a resident of Albuquerque for 60 years, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2008. She is survived by her three sons, Robert B. Dixon Jr. and wife, Kathy, Gary S. Dixon and Michael O. Dixon; two grandsons, Robert B III and Issac; and one granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn. Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dixon; her parents, Harry and Myra Upfold. Betty was a friendly, out-going person who always went out of her way to help others. Her hobbies included painting, ceramics, and many other crafts. Betty also enjoyed gardening and growing many kinds of flowers and plants. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and she will be missed by all who knew her. Services will be held Monday, June 23, 2008, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd Chapel. Interment will take place 2:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
