SAIZ -- Ruben Leroy Saiz was born March 1, 1955 in Albuquerque, NM. He passed away Friday, June 6, 2008 at the age of 53. Ruben was loved by all and will be truly missed. May he rest in peace and may God bless him. Ruben was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ricardo and Teresita Madrid; his loving mother, Barbara G. Madrid; uncles, Bonifacio Madrid and Jose Armijol; and his beloved sister, Eva Mary Saiz. He is survived by his longtime companion, Agnes Lopez; his sisters, Emily Garcia Madrid and husband Tivo, Priscilla Sanchez and her late husband Lorenzo; his brother, Steven Garcia; his daughter, Christina Saiz; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Visitation and Services will be held in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW. on Thursday, June 12, 2008. The viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 2:00 p.m., and the visitation will continue to 4:00pm.
