PENA -- Ralph O. Pena, a resident of Albuquerque, was born June 8, 1931 in San Mateo, NM to Rafael and Rosita Pena. He has passed over to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at the age of 77. Ralph was a devoted son to his parents and a devoted husband who enjoyed hunting with his nephews from Gallup. He also enjoyed gardening, reading, telling old stories and jokes. As well, Ralph liked entertaining in his home. Ralph is survived by his wife of 53 years, Yvonne; a son, Ralph R. Pena; daughter, Yolanda Anaya; grandchildren, Joseph Anaya, Alaya Anaya, Christopher Bustos and wife, Maylou, Zack Pena, Ryan Pena and Sebastian Pena; two great-great-granddaughters, Adriana and Rinoa; sisters, Nora Sandoval of San Mateo, NM, Frieda Salazar of Albuquerque and Margaret Garcia of California; brother, Fred Pena of Albuquerque; brother-in-law, Russell Brown; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Ralph was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Pena Sr. of Gallup; sisters, Minnie Pawlick of El Paso, TX, Rose Gallegos of Albuquerque and a very special nephew, Ruben Pena of Gallup, NM. Memorial Services will be held at St. Edwin Catholic Church 2105 Barcelona SW. on Thursday morning, June 12, 2008. A Rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. with the Mass of Christian burial being celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Fr. Bill Sanchez Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE.
