FOSTER -- Russell W. Foster, 89, passed away May 30, 2008, in Albuquerque. Born October 3, 1918, in Argyle, Minn., he is the son of Edgar E. Foster and Carrie B. (Sutton) Foster. The World War II veteran worked for many years at Sandia National Laboratories at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque. Russell and his wife Jane were married 67 years. Along with his wife, survivors are: his daughters, Nancy McWilliams and her husband Owen, Susan Hager and her husband Noel and Betsy Ely and her husband Scott; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
