CHAVEZ -- Eduardo "Eddie" Chavez, 89, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died Thursday, May 15, 2008. He is survived by his brother, Melquides "Mike" Chavez; nieces, Sally Molina, Mary Salazar, Barbara T. Salazar and fiance, David Borrego and Anna Salazar, all of Albuquerque; nephews, Isidro "Sonny" Salazar and wife, Alice of Seboyeta, NM, Eloy Salazar and wife, Sadie, Billy Salazar, Leonard Salazar and wife, Teri, all of Albuquerque, Abelino Salazar and wife, Livinia of Las Cruces; special friend, Ramon Chavez and many other nieces, nephews and friends. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Isidro and Crusita Chavez; brother, Juan S. Chavez; sisters Paublita C. Sanchez and Barbara C. Salazar; and niece Dolores Armijo. Services will be held May 17, 2008, 12:00 p.m., at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. Interment will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery.
