PEREA -- Clarence Perea, age 73, beloved father, grandfather, and brother, was called home by God, Saturday, May 10, 2008, after a long courageous battle with diabetes. Clarence was born in Peralta, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque; and a Businessman most of his life, he found his success and joy in being good to his customers and friends. He will be fondly remembered by his family as a very generous and caring man. Clarence served his country in the United States Army, and was a member of several Veteran's Groups. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donaciano and Carmen Perea originally of Peralta, NM; his wife Sara Ashe Perea; his siblings, Dan, Lillie, Rosa Perea, and Frances Perea Roybal. Clarence is survived by his four loving sons, whom he was very proud of, Chris and wife Maureen, Rick and wife Idella, Paul and wife Fran, and Ernie; his precious grandchildren, whom he loved very much, Tanya Nespolo and husband Denny, Kristina Perea, Patrick Perea, Nicole and Shelby Perea, Heath, Brian, Christin and Erick Perea, Elijah and Ethan Perea; two great-grandsons, Ian and Matteo Nespolo. He is also survived by his siblings, Joe Perea of Peralta, NM, Prudencia Mondragon and husband Ramon, Palmira Perea-Hay and husband Steve, Beatrice Aragon and husband Antonio, all of Albuquerque; one sister-in-law, Nellie Perea also of Albuquerque; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. Clarence will be greatly and dearly missed by all. Visitations will be today (Tuesday, May 13, 2008) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd., NE. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Thomas Ashe, Joey Perea, Ray Ashe, Gilbert Garley, Howard Sandoval, and John Mondragon.
