MCCACHREN -- Lucy Lacassagne McCachren, 86, died on Saturday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Melinda Lacassagne. She is survived by her sons, Michael McCachren, Joseph McCachren and wife, Cathy; Patrick McCachren and wife, Francis, Paul McCachren; daughters, Rita Hemsing and husband, Bill; Marie Andrews and husband, Michael; sisters, Francis Lucero, Bell Ortiz, Connie Lacassagne, Viola Manzanares; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She worked for the Bureau of Land Management for 30 years. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, St. Vincent's Auxiliary Volunteer, Third Order of St. Francis, Padre Dio, Soup kitchen worker. Rosary will be Wednesday, April 23, 2008, 7:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Santa Fe. Life Celebration Mass will be Thursday, April 24, 2008, 9:00 a.m. also at St. John's with an 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Hemsing, Joseph McCachren, Jr., David Hemsing, John Andrews, Thomas Hemsing, and James Hemsing. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert McCachren, and Mike Andrews.
