MERRILL -- Louise Merrill, age 87, of Albuquerque and formerly of Tulsa, OK, died on April 5, 2008. She was born in Rector, AR on December 26, 1920 to the late Frank and Carrie (Arment) Barker. She was a bookkeeper for over a decade at her church in Tulsa, where she also sang in the choir every Sunday. Louise was a master gardener and a wonderful provider for her children. Survivors include her daughter, Carol Merrill, of Corrales; grandchildren, Issa Abraham and Amanda Merrill; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, James, on November 23, 2005. Services will be held at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Woodland Heights Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Paul.
