RUBIO -- Emmett Rubio Jr., 76, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 1, 2008. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Eleanor; and three daughters; four sons; and their families. Beverly Rodarte, Robert Rubio, Sandra and Harry Tafoya, Eugene Rubio, Victor and Brenda, Vincent Rubio, Rene and Joe Rodarte, and Michael Rubio. Grandchildren, Henry and Maria Rodarte, Loretta and Eloisa Rodarte, Amanda and Daniel Rubio, Amber, Harry and Ashley Tafoya, Jaclyn Rodarte. Great-grandhildren, Alexis and Eli Rodarte, Angel Rodarte, Frank Olivas, Younique Rodarte, Carmella Rubio, Ashton Tafoya, Nathan Rubio. Emmett was retired from APD where he served 25 years.
