MONTGOMERY -- Earl E., 89, of Socorro, NM, passed away peacefully at his home on April 1,2008. He was born in Campo, Colorado on September 13,1918, to Charles J. Montgomery and Lena Holmes Montgomery. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Klea; his two sons, Ronald J. Montgomery and Ken R. Towery and his wife, Kathy; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Eileen Montgomery, his first wife, Flossie Gardner (1952); second wife, Mary Brammer (1968); and by his parents. Earl was raised in the vicinity of Guymon, Oklahoma. He joined the Navy in WWII, he moved to Albuquerque in 1945, then to Socorro in 1964. He retired from N.M. Tech. in 1987. He will be missed by all. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service is set for Friday April 4, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ of Later Day Saints on Camino Real in Socorro, NM.
