OTOSKI -- Dr. Richard, A Memorial Mass will be offered for DR. RICHARD E. OTOSKI on Saturday; February 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 4880 Bristol Avenue, with Rev. Charles V. Dreisbach and Rev. Rick Fischer celebrating. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Ward's Klamath Funeral Home, 1945 Main Street, on Friday; February 22, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Those wishing to do so may send contributions in memory of Dr. Otoski to Klamath Hospice, Inc., 4745 So. 6th Street, Klamath Falls, OR., 97603. or to the Assistance League of the Klamath Basin, 1330 East Main Steet, Klamath Falls, OR., 97601. Dr. Otoski, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, 62, died in Portland, OR. on Saturday; February 16, 2008. He was born December 16, 1945 in Berkeley, CA. to Ladislaus "Laddie" and Virginia (Rushton) Otoski. On June 21, 1969 he was married to the former Emily Geise in Albuquerque, NM. He graduated from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO. In 1967 and graduated from the University of New Mexico Medical School in 1971. He served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1978 with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. In July of 1978 they moved to Klamath Falls and he began his Dermatology practice. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a member and former National president of the Flying Physicians Association, a member and former president of the Oregon Dermatologic Society, a member and former president of Klamath Hospice, Inc., a trustee of the Oregon Medical Association and he was a member of the Klamath County Rotary Club, American Academy of Dermatology, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the Oregon Pilots Association and he was on the teaching staff for Oregon Health Sciences University. He loved his grandchildren, planes, trains and hot air balloons. He is survived by his wife Emily of Klamath Falls and his children; Nathan Otoski and his wife Brynn of Los Angeles, CA., Matthew Otoski of Los Angeles, CA. and Shannon Lee and her husband Mike of Klamath Falls. Grandchildren; Mia and Samuel Otoski of Los Angeles, CA. and Alex Lee of Klamath Falls. Brothers and sisters; Tom Otoski and his wife Kathy of Dayton, OH., Carol Sager and her husband Michael of Tulsa, OK., David Otoski and his wife Marka of Albuquerque and Michael Otoski and his wife Vicki of Lincoln, NE. Sister-in-law; Jane Miller and her husband Bob of Atlanta, GA. and his mother-in-law Lucia Geise of Atlanta. An uncle Carl Otoski of Spokane, WA. and an aunt Jean Nash Hamilton, MT. Also numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ward's Klamath Funeral Home (882-4404) is in charge of the arrangements.
