GILL -- Edward R. Gill, 82, resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Dick is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Ruby (his Rabbit); brother, Tom, of Illinois; daughters, Kathy L. Cato and husband, Wayne, Debi M. Garcia, and Amy L. Rizor and husband, Doug; grandchildren, Cheryl L. Ward, Richard S. Cato, Misty D. Cato, Brianna L. Cato, Melanie N. Rizor, and Stephanie A. Rizor; great-grandchildren, Taylor A. Cato, Xzavier B. Ward, Jadis S. Cato, Xiomara B. Ward, Xzadrian B. Ward, and Josiah A. Cato; and several other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by son; Timothy R. Gill; sister; brother; and parents. Ed was honored to serve his country as a corporal in the Army Air Corps during World War II. An electrician by trade, he worked all over the world and was the owner of Gill Electric for many years. He was an avid golfer, and his love of the game became his lifelong passion. Services will be held Monday, February 25, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, University Boulevard Chapel.
