FLOWERS -- Owen Eliapo Flowers, age 50, a resident of Los Lunas, NM peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 22, 2008. Owen gathered his strength from the love of his life, Yolanda, whom he referred to as his angel. Owen and Yolanda were inseparable from the moment they met, July 1985. He will be missed by all and is in God's hands now. He was preceded in death by his father, Willard "Bill" Flowers. Owen is survived by his soul mate of 21 years, Yolanda; beloved children, Kelly Flowers, Tim Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez and wife, Darlene; and Yvette Jaramillo and husband, Robert; precious grandchildren, Miranda and Robbie Jaramillo and Kenny Sanchez; his loving mother, Miriama "Millie" Flowers; and siblings, Viti Flowers, Michael Flowers, and Jimmy Flowers and wife, Marlene; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. We ask that you remember the moments you have shared with Owen and keep them close to your heart. A visitation will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 27 at 10:30 a.m. with a Memorial Service to be held at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Boyd Morerod officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tim and Joe Sanchez, Kelly, Jimmy, and Michael Flowers, and Robert Jaramillo.
