ECONOMOU -- Peter Economou, M.D., beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 2, 2008, after a long illness. Peter was highly respected and admired as a member of the Lovelace Medical Group for over 15 years. He loved his family, his pets, and felt a very special connection to nature and his home. He is survived by his wife Lee Anne Klombies; his two sons, Colin Robert and Hayden Christopher; his brother, Harris Economou (Linda), sister, Tula Economou (Kimon Papahadjopoulos) and sister, Linda Economou (Erik Trask); nephews and nieces Joseph George Economou, Katherine Angeliki Papahadjopoulos, Alexa Patricia Papahadjopoulos, Derek Vincent Trask, and Joshua Cameron Trask; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Marie Klombies; brother-in-law, Lindsay Klombies (Anna); nephew and niece, Kieran and Taryn. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Katherine Economou. A Memorial Service will be held at McKay Auditorium at Lovelace on Gibson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2008.
