PLANT -- Phyllis Irene Plant, 70, of Stanley, NM, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 30, 2008. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, William W. Plant. Beloved mother of five daughters, Debbie Smith and husband, Blaine of Albuquerque, NM, Annie Beal and husband, Britt of San Diego, CA, Linda Bradley and husband, Donald of Edgewood, NM, Lori Archibeque and fiance, David Proctor of Ruidoso, NM and Cathy Sturm and husband, Harold of Belpre, OH; 12 grandchildren, Dawn Ross and husband, Monty, Shanna Platow and husband, Kris, Britt and Brianna Beal, Christopher, Nikki and Christa Amodio, Justin, Ashlea and Cali Archibeque, Glen Paul Williamson and Jeffery Williamson and wife, Jessi; six great-grandchildren, Brooke Platow, Joshua and Kerstyn Ross, Miguel Colmenero, Kaylie and Bethany Williamson; brothers, Francis Jenkins and wife, Maxine of Taylor Ranch, Clifford Jenkins and wife, Carol of Taylor Ranch; sisters-in-law, Cloey Riley, Frances Wilcox and Nancy Jenkins; brothers-in-law, Alvin "Tuffy" Plant and Paul McComb; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Irene Jenkins and her sisters, Beverly McComb and LaVerne Long. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was an active member of the Stanley Union Church, belonged to the Stanley Home Makers Club and was an award winning quilt maker. She loved watching the beautiful sunrises and sunsets in Stanley and getting together with friends and family for a good game of dominos. She will be truly missed by all who know her - We All Love Her!! Services will be held Monday, February 4, 2008, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, with Rev. Richard Hyman officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Valley Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Sunday, February 3, 2008, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stanley Union Church Building Fund.
