ALBERTS -- Esther "Granny" Alberts, 98, a resident of Albuquerque since 1963, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008. She is survived by her children, Nancy Reichard and Carole Domres and husband, Ronald, all of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Robert Domres and wife, Sherri, Linda Josephson and husband, Raymond, and Deborah Williamson and husband, Denny; two great-grandchildren, Fallon and Theresa; and many other relatives and friends. Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Alberts; and five brothers and sisters. She was born on August 27, 1909 in Norway to Karl and Thora Abrahamson Edstrom. Esther was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and no memorial service is planned.
