GARCIA -- ANTONIO (GALENTO) F. Mr. Antonio (Galento) F. Garcia, 84, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away January 2, 2008. Mr Garcia is survived by his children, Wylie Romero and wife, Bonnie, Beverly Serna and husband, Ruben, Katheryn Centeno, Anthony Garcia, Sandra Lopez and husband, Edwin, Chris Garcia and wife, Rose, Michael Garcia and wife, Darlene; his sisters, Reginita Chavez and husband, Feliciano, Seferina Chavez and husband, Manuel; his brother, Ray Garcia and wife, Mary Therese; sisters-in-law, Elsie Crawford and Rose Garcia; brother-in-law, Frank Nelson; his aunt, Lena Griego; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Garcia and several family members. Mr. Garcia was a member of the Catholic Church; and a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. Visitation will be Friday, January 4, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Saturday at San Antonio Catholic Church, Torreon, NM, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00am by Father Ron Stone. Interment will follow at the Torreon Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher, Matthew, Mel, Steve, John, Paul, Tomas, and Herman. Honorary pallbearer will be John.
