SENA -- Manuel D. "Gordo" Sena passed away at the age of 84 on December 21, 2007 after battling lung cancer. He was born to Pablo and Josefa Sena in Pojoaque,NM. Gordo served in the South Pacific during WWII. He was S FE County Sheriff in the 1950's and as he would say "I was the last Republican Sheriff in S Fe". He is survived by his sister, Mary Quintana; wife, Nellie and her children, Stephanie, Rick and Michelle Aragon and Nicole Jackson and husband, Neal; Gordo's children, Marquita, John and his wife, Geneva, Frank and wife, Diane and Stephanie and husband, Keith; grandchildren, Cenissa, Ursula, Melisaa, Anthony, Natalie, Abby, Jordan and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Brennan and Alyssa; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation will take place. Rosary will be at Berardinelli Funeral Home in Santa Fe on December 28, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.. Mass will be Saturday, December 29, 2007 in Pojoaque, NM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at 10:00 a.m.
