KENNEDY -- Bruce Allan Kennedy, April 7, 1943 - November 6, 2007 peacefully passed away after a battle with cancer. He faced death with dignity and courage. Bruce was a native of Albuquerque, NM. He is survived by his most devoted and beloved wife of 26 years, Christina (Chris) Cousins Kennedy; a special cousin, Rocky (Vicki) Eden, Queen Creek, AZ; brother-in-law, Col. (retired) William R. (Karen) Cousins, III, Jacksonville, FL; sister-in-law, Eileen (Robert) Garner, Bristol, VA; three nieces; and a very special nephew, 1st Lt. William R. Cousins, IV, Cincinnati, OH. His faithful dogs, a.k.a. "the herd" Max, Jasmine, Rudy, Sasha, and Norton. Bruce served in the Army. He was an avid and lifelong outdoorsman. He loved to cook and attended a Kansas City Slow Pit BBQ school and was a certified Kansas City BBQ judge. Bruce also enjoyed and flew racing pigeons. A celebration of his life was held at Adair Funeral Homes in Tucson on November 12, 2007. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the American Cancer Society.
