ELEAMOS -- Nick Eleamos died unexpectedly on December 13, 2007 due to an accidental fall and fatal injury to his head. His sister, Koola Dileanis; his son, Gus; his daughter Elaine; and his granddaughter Keira survive him; as well as nieces; nephews; and sisters-in-law. Nick was a resident of Albuquerque since 1947 after moving from his home in Pennsylvania. He was a member in good standing with St. George Greek Orthodox Church, which he attended most of his life. Nick was a hard working entrepreneur, owning several businesses in the Albuquerque area since the 1940's, including the old Shamrock Bar and The Carriage House. He served his country during WWII in the Navy, where his was one of 50 survivors on a ship of 300 men that was destroyed by a mine. Nick was a kind, considerate, generous man who loved his family until the day he died. He will be missed by all who knew him. We love you dad. A Trisagion service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at French Mortuary - Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High Street, SE. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens.
