MIERA -- Sally G. Miera, also known by many as Mama Sally, went to the Lord on December 1, 2007 after a long battle with Parkinson and Dementia. She was born June 6, 1928 in San Mateo, NM where she was also raised. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Carlisle Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services. An evening Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, December 5, 2007 at El Buen Samaritano United Methodist Church, 700 Granite Ave. NW, Rev. Rodolfo and Deacon Max Cisneros officiating. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at First Methodist Church, 510 N. First Street, Grants, NM. Interment will follow at San Mateo Cemetery in San Mateo, NM. Pallbearers will be Anthony, Gerald and Ruben Gurule, Melanie and Frankie Estrada, and Lorenzo Miera. Honorary Pallbearers will be the remaining grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
