OLONIA -- Joe D. Olonia, 90, died Wednesday, November 14, 2007 in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Virginia; his son, Joseph T. Olonia and wife, Juanita; grandchildren, Robert Olonia and wife, Laura, Joseph M. Olonia and wife, Letty, Gina Renee Montoya, Ernest Montoya, Kenneth Montoya, and James Olonia; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Manuel Olonia and wife, Benina and Frank Olonia and wife, Rose; and many other family members and friends. Joe served his country in the US Army during WWII and retired from the New Mexico Game & Fish after 34 years. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2007, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel.
