ESPINOSA -- Pete C. Espinosa, 86, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at his home in Socorro, NM surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 29, 1921 in Gibson, NM to Telesforo and Guadalupe (Urbina) Espinosa. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII where he served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Babbitt Espinosa of their home in Socorro; son, George P. Espinosa of Hoffman Estates, IL; daughters: Arlene Sandoval and husband, Gabriel of Gallup, NM; and Antionette Romero and husband, Reyes of Socorro; grandchildren: Matthew Kemp, Christi Del Curto, Gayleen Morales, Tina Abbott, Jennifer Miller and Tanya Romero; great-grandchildren: Kira Del Curto, Alyssa Morales, Mikayla Morales, Brandon Amaro, Peyton Miller, Alex Amaro, Emily Del Curto, Reid Miller, Catherine Abbott, Caitlin Kemp, Jacob Del Curto and Aiden Morales. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at San Miguel with Father Andy Pavlak as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Bian Del Curto, Chuy Morales, James Salas, Ruben Sanchez, Joe Sandoval and Terry Short. Honorary Pallbearers are all of his great grandchildren. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM 575 835-1530.
